Terms and conditions
The terms that apply when you book a Samya retreat. If anything is unclear, please ask us before you book.
Booking and deposit
A deposit is required to secure your place on a retreat. We’ll confirm the amount and how to pay when you book with us by WhatsApp or email.
Prices and what’s included
Prices are per person in US dollars. The early bird price applies to bookings made at least 3 months before the retreat starts. The early bird and better together offers are limited and depend on availability.
Your retreat includes beautiful stays, Kerala meals every day, daily yoga and meditation, Ayurvedic massage, airport pick-up and drop-off at Cochin International Airport (COK), tuk-tuk sightseeing and cultural immersion in Fort Kochi, and trekking, wild elephant watching, river swims and group activities in Munnar.
International flights, visas and travel insurance are not included.
Cancellations
If you cancel 30 days or more before the retreat starts, you’ll receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat may incur a fee.
Travel insurance and visas
We highly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies and travel disruptions. You’re responsible for arranging your own passport and Indian visa.
Health and taking part
The retreat includes yoga, trekking and river swims. Please tell us about any injuries, health conditions or pregnancy before you book, so we can advise you and adapt sessions. Take part at your own pace, and let your guides know if something doesn’t feel right.
If you have dietary needs, tell us in advance so we can plan your meals.
Changes to the schedule
The exact schedule can change with the location, the weather and safety conditions. Wild elephants are wild animals, so sightings are never guaranteed.
