Samya Retreats

Yoga, nature and stillness in the heart of Kerala. Seven days: two by the sea in Fort Kochi, then five in the tea hills of Munnar.

Morning in the Western Ghats

Step away from the noise, and return to what is already within you.

Samya means balance, evenness and oneness: between body and mind, practice and play, the sea and the hills.

For seven days you’ll practise yoga and meditation, explore Fort Kochi by tuk-tuk, trek through Munnar’s tea hills and swim in its rivers.

Kerala meals are served every day, Ayurvedic massage is part of the week, and there’s plenty of room for the unexpected. It’s more than a getaway. It’s a journey into yourself.

Your guides, Achu and Nithin

“We are Achu and Nithin, the founders of Samya. Our work is rooted in years of dedicated practice, learning and inner inquiry. Yoga, for us, has never been just a physical discipline. It is a continuous journey of understanding the self.”

Samya was created as a space where this exploration can be experienced directly. You are not asked to become anything new, only gently guided to reconnect with what is already within you. We hold these retreats with care, presence and intention.

  • Born and raised in Kerala. Deep knowledge of the land, its traditions and its spiritual heritage.
  • A decade of practice. Hatha, Vinyasa and traditional Indian yoga, taught from experience.
  • Every level welcome. Sessions adapt to first-timers and advanced practitioners alike.
